The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) unveiled a new Web site this week, allowing the public to more easily access vital information about conditions of the face, mouth and jaw and their possible treatments.

“Our new site, MyOMS.org, is easy to navigate, informative and very user-friendly,” said AAOMS President Eric T. Geist, DDS. “Whether you’re a patient or simply concerned about your health and looking for the facts, this site makes it intuitive and nearly effortless to find what you need to know.”

“If you know someone who is contemplating oral surgery, please forward this announcement to them and encourage them to visit MyOMS.org,” asked Geist. “The information there may help make a difference in how they proceed.”
