Join NYSSOMS on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City or participate virtually in the 2026 Fall Scientific Meeting: Advances in OMS Care—Implants & Pediatric Anesthesia.

Featuring Dr. Amit Punj and Dr. David Beanland, the program will explore prosthodontic principles for implant treatment and comprehensive approaches to pediatric anesthesia in the OMS office.

Attendees may earn 4.5 CE credits, including 2.5 hours approved by NYSED toward the 12-hour triennial continuing education requirement for anesthesia/sedation permit renewal.

NYSSOMS President Dr. Michael Turner and Vice President Dr. Sherrill Fay represented the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons at an October 22, 2026, fundraising event with Governor Kathy Hochul in New York City.

Sponsored by NYSSOMS’ lobbying firm, Reid, McNally & Savage, the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with state leadership and raise awareness of the specialty’s role in patient care.
