In June, Governor Cuomo signed a new bill into law that requires all dental facilities to have an automated external defibrillator (AED) or some other defibrillator.  Please note that if an oral surgeon (or any dentist) already has a defibrillator they do not have to purchase an AED to comply with this law.  Any defibrillator complies with the law.
