Last April, the State of New York adopted a required sick-leave law for all employers.  It took effect on September 30, 2020, but the benefit cannot be used by employees until January 1, 2021. During October, the State issued guidance for this law (HERE) and we have also highlighted certain aspects in THESE notes.
